Frederick Woodruff responded to Adam Grant’s widely circulated criticism of astrology. Transiting Uranus is square Grant’s Leo Sun about now, so this could potentially be a drama to watch.
Rebeka Kulcsar-Kurdi continued the
introduction to the decans of the zodiac, describing how the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn assigned a Tarot card to each decan.
Long, Relaxing Video
The Astrology Podcast’s new episode with Britten LaRue on unshaming the signs of the zodiac was a very soothing piece of astro-chatter to have playing in the background while I worked on horoscopes yesterday. Before getting into the individual signs, LaRue and host Chris Brennan talked about shame surrounding astrology in general and releasing the need to prove astrology to its critics. The episode came out prior to Adam Grant’s essay, so it doesn’t directly comment on that, but the message is very relevant to that type of conflict in general.
Of the individual signs, Scorpio was handled especially well. LaRue described how her father died when she was a teenager, and then people avoided her because she was a reminder that something similar could potentially happen to them.
We all experience the energy of all the signs at some point in our lives, regardless of our own Sun signs, so this episode captures a lot of common concerns.
