The week to come sounds less dramatic than the week that’s just now ending. Good — I still haven’t filed my taxes.
Calendar Highlights
CNBC reports that US taxes are due midnight local time on April 15, with a few exceptions. Void-of-course Moons between now and then:
Saturday, April 13, 7:46 am PDT to 10:45 am PDT (Moon in Gemini)
Monday, April 15, 4:22 pm PDT to 7:24 pm PDT (Moon in Cancer)
Retrograde Mercury conjoins Chiron in Aries at 8:23 am PDT on Monday, April 15. The first hit of Mercury conjunct Chiron this go-round took place on March 20. The final hit, after Mercury goes direct, will take place on May 6. Point being, look for similarities between the three hits of this transit.

, LOVE LETTERS FROM JUPITER-URANUS IN TAURUSThese “somewhat irreverent love letters from Jupiter and Uranus to each Rising sign” are an adorable take on the April 20 Jupiter-Uranus conjunction — and a great counterpoint to all the heavier astrology lately.
, BIG RAM ENERGY: An astronavigation guide for Aries activations in April-MayThis long article provides specific suggestions for working constructively with the different flavors of Aries energy active in April and May: Solar Eclipse conjunct Chiron, Mercury Retrograde, Venus, and finally Mars.

, Aries III: The Decan of ErosThe third decan of Aries is ruled by Venus in the Chaldean system and Jupiter in the triplicity system. Either way, it’s got charisma, which makes sense for Marilyn Monroe having Venus there. To Remotigue’s comments, I will add that readers in Eugene, Oregon, may remember the late Johanna Mitchell, whose April 18 birthday gave her the Sun in Aries III. Every January for many years, she gave a public lecture that spelled out the astrological themes of the year ahead. By public, I mean that the city newspaper often covered her lectures, which packed local bookstore Tsunami Books full. This was in a time before everyone and their dog had their own forecast for the year on YouTube — a time when it was much harder to get astrological information than it is today. Her visible leadership was instrumental in helping me find my place in the astrology world.
I was also in a paper arts club with Johanna Mitchell. It was common for members to trade their creations with each other, so I wound up with these Solstice flags she made in June 2016.

, Totality: Aries Solar Eclipse Conjunct Chiron ~ Making the Invisible VisibleIt’s hard to even want to hear the word “eclipse” at this point after people went so nutty over it, but this article does a service in digging into the claims about the April 8 Solar Eclipse passing over seven cities named Nineveh.

Personal News
A couple of Substack readers have written to ask whether I offer private astrology readings. I haven’t done so yet, but I likely will start in the next couple of months. I have been a writer since long before I knew anything about astrology, so that is my comfort zone. However, ChatGPT has taken over the lower end of freelance writing jobs, cutting into my writing income. It makes sense to diversify into private readings, but I need some guidance on how to do that. I therefore just started taking Kepler College’s spring term class on how to structure client appointments. Toward the end of the spring term in June, I will hopefully be able to announce more about my offerings.
We're glad you enjoyed our Love Letters, Eva. Thanks for sharing!
Please reach out if you need an assist in your quest to offer readings.
Happy to answer any questions and provide resources.
I enjoyed this roundup. Thanks for putting it together 👍
