As the chaos of eclipse season and the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction recedes, we are back to the underlying theme of Saturn in Pisces. I have awarded myself Video of the Week for my discussion of that topic with Deep Thynkers Society.
Video of the Week
This past Wednesday, I spoke to Deep Thynkers Society about Impossible Dreams: Hopes, Fears, and Expectations for Saturn in Pisces.
I was a little nervous about my first time appearing on any podcast. We wound up experimenting with virtual backgrounds when we had to unsnarl some technical difficulties as we got started, and that helped me relax.
As the discussion continued, we got on the topic of COVID-19, which continues to be a difficult issue. Just today, after the podcast was filmed, The New York Times reported on the experiences of people who say they suffered side effects from the COVID-19 vaccines. Regardless of whatever else may be true about the whole mess of COVID-19, these people were not treated the way they should have been treated.

Chris Brennan and Diana Rose Harper review the events of April 2024 and look ahead into May 2024. Brennan points out that April’s Mars-Saturn conjunction took place in the water sign of Pisces, while recent past Mars-Saturn conjunctions in air sign Aquarius were associated with the airborne pandemic of COVID-19. Brennan and Harper don’t draw this connection themselves, but I wondered as I listened about the current concern over bird flu virus fragments being found in milk — milk isn’t quite water, but it is a fluid.
In this episode, Brennan and Harper also discuss the Danielle Ayoka murder-suicide with an emphasis on mental health concerns.
Georgia Stathis concludes her three-part series on the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, exploring how Jupiter-Uranus conjunctions unfold over time. She points out, “An invention has to make sense in the world in which it finishes, not in the world in which it started.”
The series is intended as a fundraiser for the Alexandria iBase Project. Stathis is the author of Pushing through Time, and a portion of the proceeds from that book also supports the Alexandria iBase Project’s efforts to preserve astrological literature.

, Taurus II: You’re Going To Reap Just What You SowThis post is a multimedia extravaganza complete with a Spotify playlist and a spreadsheet of musicians with prominent natal placements in the second decan of Taurus. I also thought the chart images for the case studies of Wes Anderson and Jhené Aiko were especially well done. It’s the perfect sensual experience for a very sensual decan!
, You gotta have faithWhite describes “a very real phenomenon taking hold in the World of Woo in the last year or so” — practitioners in various fields related to spirituality having their businesses attacked by their competitors. Saturn has been in Pisces for roughly the last year or so, and Pisces would rule many professions related to spirituality. Saturn may bring healthy discipline and seriousness to such professions, but it might also cause problems by introducing a sense of scarcity. We must remember that our success does not need to come at someone else's expense.

My mom and I recently re-watched the movie Boyhood, which was filmed bit by bit over the course of 2002 to 2013 so that the characters would age naturally. Ellar Coltrane, who plays the main character, was born August 27, 1994, with a grand trine of Mars in Cancer, Jupiter in Scorpio, and Saturn in Pisces. When the movie came out in 2014, Jupiter was in Cancer, and Saturn was in Scorpio. The emphasis on water signs makes sense for a movie in which one year flows into another without explicit comment. After Boyhood, Coltrane went on to star in the short film Bodies of Water.
