Neptune has been hanging out on top of my Sun the past week. Not that I wasn’t prepared for this transit but what it brought? Straight up Neptunian—and when I say that? Of all the outer planets Neptune kicks my a$& like no other. And ALWAYS surprises me. When he sextiles my Asc I thought WHOA but my Sun? Hang in there fellow fish…gratefully he is on his way to Aries…where my Chiron awaits. #fingerscrossed #outerplanettransit #conjunctionjuntion #whatsyourfuntion #kickingmyass

“History doesn’t repeat itself exactly, but it rhymes.” 👏🔥 dang that’s a GOOD ONE. I’m intrigued by your premises in this article. And having an entirely new respect (bows head) for Neptune since he sat me on my a$& last week gonna look into Neiderweisz and more from this summit. I appreciate your writing and sharing. Are u familiar with Dorothy Oja’s ideas of Planetary Resonance? Interesting stuff. I’m all for the cerebral Air age. My two grand trines in Air are already singing. Loudly. 👍

Thanks! I haven't heard of Dorothy Oja -- will have to look into that. Sounds like you have a Water Sun along with your Air Grand trines, and that could bring some necessary balance to all the Air transits. It is great to think freely and widely, but sometimes one's feeling side provides a useful signal to rein things in.

I rely HEAVILY on my Taurus asc (18 degrees) and my Cap moon (15 deg 9th). I’m lucky to have my earth and my hubby is a Taurus. He keeps me on the Earth. ✨ the air trines cause me LOTS of “blonde moments” which is playful bc the intellect behind them is intense. But I love it. Mars in gem in 1st house! My hobbies have hobbies.

I love "hobbies have hobbies"! How was that during the super long Mars Gemini transit late 2022-early 2023?

Hobby full!🤣 and also mind scrambling bc it was way too much. In general? I tend towards way too much but when I FEEL I’m way too much? Then for realsies it’s WAY TOO MUCH. As I’m sure you can appreciate—knowing about a transit doesn’t necessarily allow for me to be prepared for how it lands.

Well, for me the long Mars in Gemini transit was in my 9th house. I went on a road trip with my mom to visit two sets of relatives and then published two e-books. One couldn't have imagined a more literal interpretation, but I still didn't see it coming in advance.

Congrats on the e-books! I’m hoping to take my 83 year old mother on a road trip for HER bday in April to celebrate my mid-century. 💙 moms deserve special recognition.

Precisely. I often sense that knowing the transit and experiencing the transit? Two different experiences! Bc the energy behind it all? The intelligence of you will? ALWAYS better than I had come up with—better and cooler than the edge my imagination imagined. It’s what always brings me back to astrology. Endlessly fascinating. 💙

Because when I “think I know” I’m actually full up and unteachable. I try to practice open hands open mind open heart as much as I can. Air trines make me “think I know” far too often and then? Can’t put more water in an already full cup.

As always, you've given me a lot of insights to think about. I found myself in a conflict with many interpretations about Neptune that I think better matches Uranus. All things "unconventional," the expanding social definitions on gender that individuals assert. I see the transits ahead of Uranus and Jupiter moving into Gemini will just expand the conversation and education, reveal radical and reactionary belief systems. I can see Neptune entering Aries as releasing collective anger and suffering, rising from the depths of repression and suppression and great suffering, for society to face (at last). I just don't see that as individualized. Movements, groups, rebellions I see as Uranus.

Good point on Uranus going into Gemini — I didn't really get into Uranus one way or another in this piece, but Uranus in Gemini will definitely intensify the Air vibe of the Air Age + Pluto in Aquarius. It'll be hard for Neptune in Aries to avoid getting lost in the shuffle, but Neptune is what we idealize, so we could wind up idealizing the Aries dream of the individual.

Another Aries thing we could wind up idealizing during Neptune in Aries is the infant or even the embryo. Another reader emailed me privately to point out another news story this month potentially related to the Chiron-North Node conjunction in Aries: the Alabama Supreme Court ruling that embryos created through IVF are considered children.

Good points. I don't quite understand the astrology interpretation that matches Chiron-No Node in Aries with the IVF embryo legal decision. Could this be a Saturn in Pisces plus Pluto in Aquarius manifestation? After all, we are not yet in Neptune in Aries. Is there anything related to the heavy emphasis of Uranus (shocking, revolutionary, crazy) and Jupiter (beliefs, dogma, legal decisions) in Taurus--the fertilized embryo that grows into life?

It wasn't my interpretation initially, but if I had to flesh it out, I would say Chiron represents medicine — perhaps the imperfect side of medicine, the Wounded Healer who ultimately has to admit that some wounds can't be healed on this planet. Chiron in Aries, the sign of beginnings, could be the realization that the attempt to medically intervene in the beginnings of life can't be made perfect. Yes, discarding embryos has issues, but banning this causes issues too. No matter what the law is, there will be suffering, so we have to decide which suffering we can live with. I personally prefer to get the government out of people's private suffering as much as possible.

Thanks so much. I forgot about Chiron representing medicine. So right! Aries beginnings, conception. Suffering to the right of us; suffering to the left of us. Pisces, Neptune, Virgo. All.

Amen to less government in my womb. TBH? The LACK of outrage is concerning. I think when this idea starts getting more discussed in the Collective we will see some deep polarities. For example: don’t ALL of these embryos deserve LIFE since they are pretty much held in some bardo state of inanimation? (Not my stance tbc—but a worthy argument IF you believe that life starts at conception. NOW WHAT?!?

IVF def feels Saturnian to me as they are attempting the “rein it in” and define it

Maybe they will get somewhere productive when Saturn moves into Aries. Right now, they seem to be realizing how much they don't know.

Whoa neighbor. Question: how is it that actual WOMEN’s rights are so narrowly defined at the moment but POTENTIAL beings rights are getting a W I D E margin? Which planets are SPEAKING here? Again, as a being with insane Saturnian natal aspects? Sounds like SATURN. But FEELS LIKE Neptune. Eva said the word “idealize” and gongs went off in my system. Now the FUN part—how is URANUS going to surprise us here (ivf)?

Thanks for the reminder of Uranus and Jupiter moving into Gemini. As they sit on my Asc all I can think is “they will never move” 🤣 YES of course air air and more air as I’m seeing mirroring back from all astro seekers right now. Thanks for the reminder that it JUST KEEPS GOING. 👍
