Yesterday, the 55-year-old Virgo daughter of a friend of mine had emergency surgery to remove an infected gall bladder. I had similar surgery when I was her age. Thing is, the daughter is from the 1% of 1% wealthiest families (by marriage) we have in this country. She is also a powerhouse, being the founder of several businesses and buying and selling commercial real estate. By contrast, one could say I hail from exceedingly modest means.
Good point. When I read about gallbladder problems in humans, most sources do not go into social status or personal relationships -- they just say being female is a big risk factor. Women would have a lot of the same hormones regardless of where they are on the socioeconomic ladder. On the other hand, feeling subordinate is relative. If your rich friend feels pushed around by her rich friends or rich husband or rich parents, she's having that universal human experience regardless of the external details.
