I wonder whether this conjunction is also reflective of today’s news for Oregon of the decision by the grocery corporations to close scores of Albertsons, Safeway, and other stores owned by Kroger in the like in their effort to get governmental agencies to accept their merger.
Could be -- looks like 19 states are affected, but Mars-Uranus is, of course, active globally. The conjunction taking place in Taurus makes sense for a food-related issue.
Just found the Oregon-Washington list. I wonder if they intentionally ditched the stores in rougher neighborhoods. Like in Eugene they are keeping the nice Safeway up on 40th but getting rid of the one on 18th that put in the new theft control entrance recently. In Portland, the 10th and Jefferson Safeway regularly makes the news for issues with homeless people misusing the bottle return program. I think someone is happy to have that be someone else's problem now!
Another KGW article states that Safeway and Albertsons are owned by a company called Cerberus. I'm not home to do a good look on my computer, but that sounds like something that might have a name asteroid.
