To Leo rising friends from a Cancer rising soul: My will to you is not to be afraid of the collective or cling to yourself and your creations. Neptune in the 9th allows you to widen your perception of philosophies and religions. That means putting aside judgements against whatever belief systems you’ve discarded or disdained and to recognize that people hold their beliefs dear. What are they like? What do they need? What do they receive for the beliefs they hold? Can you extend an embrace of compassion if not love?
Neptune in the 9th means confronting your own fears and illusions based on incorrect or limited beliefs. Let them dissolve into that ocean of understanding. Surrender your ego-attachment for a “higher truth” above the fog of confusion or delusion. Neptune in Aries means you can walk with a spear in your hand through any fog, ready to fight the phantoms that are not flesh-and-blood. In your other hand, carry a basket filled with food and nurture, aid of all kinds to all people and living things.
Neptune in Aries is the Good Samaritan—not passive, but active. The 9th house invites you to widen your scope, to join class action suits, to speak up to authorities who can change laws, to extend your reach internationally. Tap your resources—Neptune incorporated them into our being during its sojourn through the 8th house. Use them, rely upon them.
Neptune always fosters serendipity wherever it goes. “Absolute reality,” as Maharishi Mahesh Yogi called it, versus “Relative Reality,” is unbounded. Anything can be manifested. In Aries, you can become a walking manifester, sharing the gift of *you*, and there is no one like you. Extend your hand in gestures of giving of yourself, and it will be full when you draw it close to you.
Thanks as always. Since I'm weak on astronomy, I appreciate your explanation of the Nodes. i have a little different take on Neptune in Pisces and of Neptune in Aries. I don't see how Neptune in Pisces can be anything but oceanic, without boundaries and thus untethered from concrete reality. During the years since 2011, we collectively realized we are a collective, then understood we're all in this together--facing the global and existential climate crisis, mass migrations, refugees and immigrants, extinctions, the unhoused, people suffering with addiction diseases, and hungry people in general, and then Covid. To me, the transit was the calling to our Buddha natures, to expand compassion, to marry heart and soul with observations of all that is. Pisces calling forth the opposite in Virgo's painfully accurate view of reality. the forest now seeing the trees and thereby the whole.
Now shifting to Neptune in Aries, I think we need to grow into compassionate action and activism, on behalf of the collective more than the individual. Instead of resiliency, I see a calling forth of courage and the need to stand up and fight for the rights of all--against injustice, intolerance, bigotry, greed, the isms, etc.
