We’ve already survived a full week of March, one of the more astrologically interesting months of 2025. Since March 1, Venus has been retrograde. We still have a Mercury Retrograde, a Lunar Eclipse, a Solar Eclipse, and Neptune’s ingress into Aries ahead of us.
Lunar Eclipse (Full Moon) March 13-14, 2025
The upcoming Lunar Eclipse — where the Moon and the South Node are in Virgo, and the Sun and the North Node are in Pisces — has attracted a fair amount of anxiety because it also happens with the Sun conjunct Saturn. As I stated in Weekend Entertainment Guide 2/7/25, this configuration interacts with the natal charts of Donald Trump and Elon Musk, potentially threatening to disrupt their relationship. The natal chart of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is also shown in Weekend Entertainment Guide 2/7/25, and, though I did not draw this connection there, the CIA’s natal Sun-Venus conjunction in Virgo is close to the Lunar Eclipse’s Moon in Virgo.
Collective drama aside, I think there is the possibility for this eclipse to be liberating for individuals on a personal level. Any Full Moon is an opportunity for release, and a Lunar Eclipse, an especially intense type of Full Moon, would heighten that.
With Saturn in the mix, this eclipse may be a chance to shed particularly weighty burdens. Extra work may be necessary to get out of an unwanted commitment the right way, or the official way, but it could at least finally be over after that.
I am reminded of Joni Mitchell’s song “Little Green,” which was about putting her child up for adoption.
So you sign all the papers in the family name
You're sad and you're sorry but you're not ashamed
Little green have a happy ending

Is narcissism trending out?
A reader told me about an especially odd video that recently came up in her YouTube feed: “Do Narcissists Have Nephilim DNA?” This cracked me up because it mashes together two big fascinations of the internet — narcissists and Nephilim. What a search engine optimization (SEO) bonanza!
I previously wrote about Nephilim in January 2024, reviewing a Samuel Reynolds Instagram video concerning the alleged Miami mall aliens. Narcissism, of course, is talked about all the time online.
If someone feels the need to add Nephilim to their narcissism video to make it interesting or get it picked up in search results, though, I wonder if that is a sign that it’s becoming harder to draw readers to narcissism content. I still read content about narcissism and Cluster B personality disorders, but I probably spend less time on that now than I did in, say, 2017 or 2018. Perhaps I have already learned the basics and reached a point where I just need an occasional update. I would not be surprised if other very online people had also reached that point.
On March 30, 2025, Neptune will make its first ingress this cycle into Aries. I think this is the most interesting part of March’s astrology. Eclipses and Mercury Retrogrades happen more than once a year, and Venus Retrogrades are within the realm of routine too, but Neptune hasn’t been in Aries during the lifetime of anyone now living.
I can imagine narcissism potentially getting a rebrand over the course of the Neptune in Aries transit — that the cluster of traits and behaviors currently referred to as narcissism could come to be referred to by a different name and even viewed positively. Aggressively advocating for one’s own interest at the expense of others is one way that Aries energy can manifest. It’s not the only possible way, of course, but with Neptune, the planet of idealization, in Aries, we might not be too picky!
In a February 2024 post looking ahead to Neptune in Aries, I relayed a quote from Stephen Fry: “If you want a picture of the future, imagine Veruca Salt stamping her foot and crying ‘I want it now!’ – for ever.” A year later, I still think that checks out.
Ah the wisdom of my fellow bi-polar brother, Steven Fry, nailing the upcoming astrology (probably) without knowing it! One thing that I find so fascinating about not only March but really the next year or so is just how we've got probably the biggest "bipolar" transition in the Zodiac---from dreamy, transcendental, cosmic Pisces into boots-on-the-ground, immanent, individualistic Aries and back again---playing out in all sorts of ways. The last few days of March it's like the planets are playing musical chairs across the Pisces/Aries divide.
As a result, it's fascinating to watch the world and how individuals are responding to these wild energies by choosing one side or the other as though the other one simply doesn't exist. If ever there was a period to embrace the paradoxical wisdom of Both/And All The Time, it's now!
Having said all of that, sometimes I wonder if my experiences with "BryPolar," not to mention my various wanderings in psychedelic states, have made it easier for me to recognize the Both/And-ness of Reality and not get stuck in one extreme or the other, at least not for too long.
I'm doing my best to both bring my best foot forward and show up in a way that can allow me to share any wisdom I've gained in 52 years in an accessible way and also stay in compassion and understanding that some of these things I may be taking for granted aren't things others have (yet) experienced.
Despite the fact that some astrological content creators fall prey to the pressures of the algorithms to turn every astrological event into the Second Coming, well, for a month, at least, I'll forgive that tendency because it's hard to overstate just how profound the March 2025 astrology is---I've been eyeing it for four years now and here we are! Strap in, have some fun, lift up those who are struggling and keep your head up as best as you can---which can also mean taking a BIG break away from all of this stuff and just enjoying some of your favorite music, movies, etc. (always a favorite Pisces Season activity for me!).
Thanks for the sweet shout out! XO — Vivi
