Hi Eva, thanks for the shout out, it looks like I'm in good company here with the excellent content you've highlighted. Lots to get stuck into.

And great spot with regards to the naming of the ship! It never occurred to me to look that up.

I wouldn't have thought to look up the naming ceremony either, but I fact-checked to make sure the ship really was named after the painter, and The Baltimore Banner's article linked me to The Maritime Executive.

"Eerie as it is, the resemblance between the Dalí painting and the real-life catastrophe is just a coincidence"

Thanks to The Baltimore Banner for clearing that up 🙏

Well, this is weird as heck. I'm taking a Kepler College class on astrological counseling, like how to set up client appointments, and one of our assigned texts this week included Salvador Dali's chart. Today's Jupiter-Uranus conjunction is totally blowing up Dali's natal chart: he has a stellium of Sun-Mercury-Mars 20-25° Taurus square Saturn 20° Aquarius.

Wow, that's quite the synchronicity! There are clearly many layers to the astrology here.

I notice that Francis Scott Key's chart has the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in opposition to his natal Saturn, so perhaps there is something to the idea of posthumous transits 🤔

Good find! Transiting Jupiter-Uranus opposing natal Mars and Saturn, yeah, that is volatile. Key is also having a posthumous Neptune opposition.

Another Dali synchronicity: I am a journaler and buy blank books faster than I can use them. Back in 2018, my boss at the time visited the Dali museum in Florida and came back super excited about it. I went to the museum website after hearing her talk it up, and I wound up ordering a couple of blank books from the Dali museum's online store. Earlier this month, I picked one of the Dali museum books for the journal I am using now!
